Putovanje… I A journey

Ili kako bi rekao Anthony Bourdain „Travel is not reward for working, it’s education for living“.

A u poslovnim, osobito ovim mojim računovodstvenim, postoji Zakoni, prema kojima svaki početak poduzetničkog puta, mora imati smisao i to onu u brojkama.

Putovanje. Život. Sve.

I malo računanja!

A journey…

Or as Anthony Bourdain would say, “Travel is not reward for working, it’s education for living”.

No, I will not write about the kind of journey I was on – all life is a journey, which enriches, creates experience and you fit it into your daily routines, including business ones…

And in business, especially my accounting, there are Laws, according to which every beginning of an entrepreneurial journey must have meaning, and that in numbers.

Starting with the facts – why someone decided on a certain activity; what kind of capital did he invest in that venture, not only in the financial sense, but also in the creative sense, then whether in the end that investment was profitable or not and why that is so; does it make sense to be in a loss at the beginning of the business or does an excellent result immediately indicate what the future holds. With that trip, in the primal way, from the heart, with knowledge, which I have been refining for years; I’m dealing with these days.

When I explain to an entrepreneur the difference between money in the account and between the obligation to pay taxes, down to all those details, which I know that a certain entrepreneur has, he asks for and receives information – a journey, important for both parties, and if you don’t explain the same well, you will hardly get confidence.

Then you try to monetize your knowledge, because you yourself have invested as well as expect profit, but you expect that the trust you give to others, when you delegate, will be additionally released with time, which is limited, then you see again – where you are wrong, but also other.

Is my job and that of many of my colleagues so difficult and insurmountable? Of course not, I just don’t like it when with one course of 3 months, you have a “vocation”, which you upgrade yourself and how – for years. So you question yourself again – is something good and what responsibility lies in it?

However, over time, you learn that you are the one who is trusted, but also the one who is rebuked when something goes wrong… it is the journey of those who lead – they encourage others on their way, but they still stand firm in front of every decision – because that’s how it has to be, for those of us who run small businesses, and who contribute to our country’s budget every day with our work.

A journey. Life. All.

And a little math!
